Hey guys!! 

So, I’m going to a book con next month, and I just found out that I need a costume. It’s halfway across the country from me, so I need something easy to lack in my suitcase to fly. I, also, haven’t dressed up in years! My first thought is Annabeth from Percy Jackson. What do you guys think?! 

Today, we in America remember the most horrific act of terror that our country has seen. On 9/11/01 our country was attacked, and we lost over 3,000 lives. Many of us can tell you exactly where we were when that first plane hit. I certainly can. I had just gotten out of the shower, and was getting ready for my first class of the day, as it was the first semester if my sophomore year of college. My roommate called me in to our living room, & we held hands as we cried & watched the news. Our world has changed a lot in the last 15 years. I’ve had many, many friends who have gone to war in response to this event. Many of them have come back hurt in one way or another, some physically, others emotionally- all have been changed forever. I am thankful to be able to say that they all came home. I am one of the lucky ones. My hope is this: We remember this day, and work towards a time that this will no longer be a threat. Learn to love one another, understand one another, respect one another, & embrace our differences. Much love to you all.

Hey guys! Just an update: I’m sorry that I’ve been MIA for a week or so. There was a bit of a mishap, and I’ve been stuck fighting a migraine for about two weeks. It has caused me to take a ridiculously long time to get through a book that would normally have taken only a couple of days. I should get a new review posted for you tomorrow, though! Thanks for hanging in there with me!!

Hey guys!! 

I had to recover a little, and let everything that I read over the weekend sink in. I’ll be posting readathon reviews (5 books!) starting tomorrow, so stay tuned!! As always, thanks for reading!

Fortunately, I was able to finishup Ink & Bone right as my 24 hours came to a close! 5 books, 1330 pages read, & $199.50 raised for the Colon Cancer Alliance! I’d say that was a successful 24 out of 48 hours!! 

This is the next book up on the list! I’ve had this one for a while, and now seems as good of a time as any to jump in!! 

I couldn’t sleep when I tried, so I’m back at it!! Up next: 

I finished this one up at the 12 hour mark, so I’m turning in for the night!

Book one was completed in 5 hours! I took a break to go see my sister and nephew. Read Cruel Crown when I got back. I’m 7.5 hours in now, and I’m taking a quick food break! Then, it’s on to the next one! I’ll let you know what that is when I decide!!
