I apologize for not posting for the last little bit, but there has been a lot going on. I had an injury while I was at the FiLwNE Con, and it turned out to be a much bigger deal than initially thought. I am in PT now, and will be resting this weekend. While I’m doing that, though, I will be posting all of the reviews of the books that I have read during this lapse, so get ready!!! Thanks for reading!!

Before Banned Book Week ends, I wanted to add a tribute to one of my favorites, which happens to top the 2015 list: Much like I loved Paper Towns, I fell in love with this book & its characters. They were so relatable. This book reminded me of what it was like to feel all of those feelings of loss & love, & made me examine them again. I loved the references to The General & His Labyrinth (great classic!). It’s one that will stay with you for a while!
I hate that books are banned at all. I despise censorship. It needs to end. Buy and read banned books. They may expand your mind!

Hi all!!
I’ve made it to the Fall in Love with New England Conference, and have been hanging with author Jordan K. Rose for a couple of days!! I’ve met some new authors, and they seem interesting. I’m at the first panel now: Paranormals & Those Who Love Them. It looks to be a great panel!
It’s been a while since I delved in to any graphic novels, but I’ve been pretty sick this last week & it’s been a rough work week. Some time with my Suicide Squad friends was just what I needed! I’m enjoying the New 52 series quite a bit. It’s different than the oldie but goodies, but they are fun! I’ve finished #2, and am going to start on The Batman Detective series while I’m waiting on Amazon to bring me 3 & 4. If you’re a graphic novel fan, give them a shot!

Ok, so I’ve had some computer problems in the last little bit. After looking at the blog, I’ve realized that there is at least one, and possibly more reviews that were “posted”, but apparently didn’t actually post. I’ll be re-posting them, but it may take me just a little bit to see if there are more that are missing. Ugh, technology! 🙂
