I just wanted to give you guys an update on what’s coming up. I just finished Rick Riordan’s Magnus Chase & The Gods of Asgard: The Sword of Summer today, and have just begun Maestra by L.S. Hilton. The review for The Sword of Summer will be posted for you tomorrow! I have a long weekend (so thankful for holiday’s!), so I’m hoping to get a couple of books finished up this weekend. Thanks to a long-time favorite author, my reading slump seems to have been broken!! I finally delved in to The Bazaar of Bad Dreams, & that seems to have done the trick. Oh, my dear readers, it has finally happened! I am in a reading slump. I have always heard from friends who read as voraciously as I do and members of various books clubs that I have or do belong to how they are in slumps that they can’t get out of, but I’ve never been able to relate. I have had to put down books because I wasn’t in the mood to read them, but I’ve always been able to pick up another and move on. I understand them now. I have tried to start 4-5 different books, and haven’t been able to get in to any of them! I’m going to try a book of short stories next, to see if that will get me to snap out of it. *crosses fingers* I just needed to vent to those who may understand the struggle! I hope that you all had a fantastic week! Mine was so, super busy! On a good news front, my cornea has finally completely healed so I can get back to reading like a mad woman. 😊 Unfortunately, it took longer than we wanted it to, because I couldn’t rest my eye as much as the doc wanted me to since I really had to work. I am thiiiis (holds fingers close together) close to finishing my current read, and hope to be able to post a review for you before my usual Wednesday post. I do have to work on Sunday, but hopefully that won’t be too much of an issue. Thanks for hanging in there with me, and as always, thanks for reading. Have a great weekend!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! I hope that you are all having a great week so far. I’ve been a little bit under the weather this week, but I’m muddling through. I was hoping to have a review up for you today, but unfortunately that isn’t happening. Apparently, I wasn’t ready for the book that I was reading and I had to keep putting it down. I just couldn’t get through it, so I started another one in the mean time. I’m in to this one, though, so I should be through it in a few days and have a review up.
